Bought it earlier in the year and drove it home from north MS to NewOrleans. Does have typical rust but not horrible. Passenger rear rocker,doglegs, and front fenders have rust at bottom. frame rails are ok butpassenger is funky, previous owner repaired it all them filled it withfoam then sat it in a field, so needless it will need to be repairedagain. Still solid a solid car to drive around and starts every time.

Engine is from an 82/83 with 5speed. Still carbed. Just rebuild the alternator (GM swapped).

Previous owner said it needed a new clutch but after bleeding clutch,it is fine to me, but may need to be changed soon no idea how old it is

What I have done so far and the good things going for it:

Tires have alot of tread still.
Aftermarket AC is installed, blows cool. Think it is contaminated and will need to be vacuumed and check for leaks.
New Optima red top, about a year old
Installed integra seats because I wanted more comfort. Have the old seats if you want em.
Replaced the 4 shocks/struts 2 months ago only have 50 miles on them so far. Used the Staag brand to see how they were.
Replaced old sway link with prothane ones, also 3 of 4 bump stops(dog decided to hide one, I have 1 more now to go with car)
Did tune up (spark plugs, wires, oil change, bled brakes)
Replaced old valve cover and repainted
Replaced broken air cover

I started pulling out some of the dents and addressing some of the rust.

IT does still have a few cosmetic/minor issues but a very good starting point:

Headlights works but sometimes don't (ground issue I think orcorroded stalk, I don't like driving the Z at night, folks are idiotdrivers here)
No windshield wipers or motor, but have them to install (I don't drive it in the rain)
Floor panels are solid for the most part but pitting in a few areas
Rear plastic panels are very fragile, will need to be replaced
Has electric fuel pump, need to redo threading it drips when it feels like it
Driver rear fender was hit who knows when, I was able to knock mostof it out, just haven't gotten around to smoothing it out
Front vents don't seal well or close tight, when it rains it soaks the floor, I keep it covered with a tarp or car cover

I have some of items and spare parts to go with it to if my asking priceis met. Items are a set of front calipers in great condition (brake jobneeded within the year), have 3 stainless lines (4th one eludes me),original rusty hatch with period correct glass (vertical defrost lines),replacement hatch (primered, will need paint), I have the originalspare and cover, all carpet inside in trunk, 2 sets of window motors, 1set of wipers, few other odds and ends that I won't need also. Stillhave the original seats if you want, also have a set of seats from my 78in great condition, except driver seat has 1 rip.

Only reason I am selling because I still working on my LS1 install on my78 and buying a house soon, otherwise I was gonna redo all the bodywork and paint it for fun as an alternate daily driver (newer house willbe too far from work)
I also have it for sale locally as well as other forums and I have the right to end the auction early.
